Prayer to Saint Kateri Tekakwitha

Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, like a big sister close to God,
you watch discreetly over us.
May your love for Jesus and Mary
inspire in us the words and deeds of fraternity,
of reconciliation and of forgiveness.
Ask God to give us the courage, the boldness and the strength
to build a world of justice and peace
among ourselves as among the nations.
Like you, we want to go to the encounter with the Lord
who is present in the very depths of nature,
and become witnesses of Life.
With you we offer our praise to the Father, to the Son and to the Spirit.
Amen.
